OutLabs legal
Privacy Policy
How OutLabs LLC handles information from this website and from the business systems it builds and operates.
Effective August 3, 2026
1. Who we are and when this policy applies
OutLabs LLC is an independent engineering company registered in Wyoming, United States. This policy applies to outlabs.io, direct business enquiries, and the integrations and operational systems that OutLabs provides.
For information submitted directly to OutLabs, OutLabs decides why and how that information is used. When OutLabs processes WhatsApp or other customer information for a client business, that business normally controls the customer relationship and OutLabs acts as its processor or service provider under documented instructions.
2. Information we may process
The information involved depends on how you interact with OutLabs or with a business whose systems we support.
- Website and business enquiries: name, email address, message, language, and limited anti-abuse and delivery metadata.
- WhatsApp Business Platform data: phone number, profile or display information supplied by Meta, message content and media, message and template identifiers, delivery status, timestamps, account and phone-number identifiers, and consent or suppression state.
- Client and administrator data: business contact details, account roles, configuration, support history, and credential references. Secret values are kept in designated secret stores rather than business records where practicable.
- Technical records: IP address, request and security logs, error details, device or browser information, and operational metrics needed to protect and run the service.
3. Why we use information
We use information to answer enquiries; deliver contracted software, messaging, and support workflows; route and secure communications; maintain consent and suppression controls; diagnose failures; prevent fraud or abuse; reconcile provider activity; meet legal obligations; and improve the reliability of the systems we operate.
We do not use WhatsApp Business Solution Data to train or improve general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.
4. Legal bases and client instructions
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may be based on your request or consent, a contract, compliance with law, or legitimate interests such as service security and reliable delivery. A client business is responsible for establishing the lawful basis for its customer communications, honoring opt-outs, and giving any notice required in its market.
5. How information is shared
We share information only as needed with the client business responsible for the interaction, Meta and WhatsApp for message delivery, and carefully selected infrastructure, hosting, email, security, and observability providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people, rights, and service integrity.
OutLabs does not sell personal information and does not use it for third-party targeted advertising.
6. Retention
We retain information only for the period needed for the stated purpose, the client contract and retention schedule, security and reconciliation, or a legal requirement. Client application data remains in the relevant client or product system rather than a shared OutLabs customer database. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or de-identified; protected backups age out according to their normal rotation.
7. International processing
OutLabs and its providers may process information in the United States, Argentina, and other countries where contracted infrastructure operates. Where required, we use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict information, or object to certain processing, subject to applicable law. For a WhatsApp conversation with a client business, contact that business or use the opt-out instructions in its message. You may also follow our Data Deletion instructions if you are unsure who controls the interaction.
9. Security
We use access controls, secret separation, encryption in transit, signed webhook verification, audit records, retention limits, and operational monitoring appropriate to the system. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we also maintain incident and recovery procedures.
10. Children
OutLabs services are directed to businesses and are not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information through this website.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to system@outlabs.io.
